Welcome to OH Yaks!

Eleven years ago we traveled to Nebraska, where we loaded up our first five yak that were the beginnings of our yak business, OH Yaks. Over the years we have enjoyed welcoming many calves into the world, helping others start their yak farm adventure with those calves, and filling a few freezers with healthy, tasty, grass-fed, meat. Other animals have graced our fields during this time too, including the Kunekune pigs that we currently raise.

As we have gotten older and have other things competing for our time, we've decided to downsize. We still have yak for sale, please view them on our FOR SALE page. In addition to the four yak we have for sale, we still have 3 producing yak cows and our gentle giant bull, Ivan.

We also have 6 Kunekune pigs for sale, three of which will be going in to be processed in December. At this point we aren't actively breeding until our numbers are down, so we'd be willing to sell our registered boar and/or our two registered sows as well. So, although we are a smaller operation than we once were, we still have some great animals that would make nice additions to your own farm, or perhaps tasty additions to your freezer.
