Ivan has become one of our farm favorites because of his quiet and gentle personality, which I am sure he inherited from his sire Yogan. Ivan is a big imperial trim guy with impressive handlebar horns. Ivan has produced three very impressive batches of calves. Ivan loves to have his head scratched, went into the chute willing when he used to fit. He will work his way into the chute even though our small one is a tight fit. He has learned to stand against the fence to get brushed and will ...

Willow is a very special big yak cow. We absolutely adore this girl and her sister Lexi. She is a fantastic mother, she has never been aggressive when she has a calf but is leery of strangers at first and her calves have always inherited her friendly disposition and desire for human attention. Willow came to us as a halter trained weanling with her half sister Lexi. Willow never really excelled at leading, we have only haltered her once or twice over the years, so I would not consider her halter ...

Details
Reluctantly rehoming this amazingly gentle and sweet 2024 bull.

This is Mr. Wilson, located in SW Ohio. He is out of our bull Ivan (12B33) and a cow we rehomed late last year, named Willow (19B44). They are both registered with USYAKS(now NAYAK), which means Mr. Wilson is eligible to be registered if buyer desires.

We had planned to keep him for ourselves, but as we plan for the future we have decided that Mr. Wilson would make a great addition to a herd with more cows to breed, we only have 2 producing cows left. He loves calves and is so very gentle with them. He has been nothing but sweet with our 2025 calves. In fact, both calves are usually found hanging out with Mr. Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is easy to manage. He usually comes running when I call him. His only flaw is that he loves getting scratches so much that he falls to ground for a full body rub down. Please DM for more information, he is much too nice to end up in someone’s freezer.
